GMFW at The Pipeline
I have a new piece today at The Pipeline. The assignment was to write about the Hollywood propaganda effort in support of radical environmentalism and the vast public and private effort to combat Climate Change while simultaneously looting the treasuries of the World.
The first thing that popped into my mind was “The Day After Tomorrow”, Roland Emmerich’s silly but eminently rewatchable film about a climate disaster which threatens to destroy the world, but mostly the United States and Great Britain who, as the leaders of the Decadent West, are (obviously) the most culpable for the ongoing destruction of the Environment. The film even features a barely disguised version of Vice President Dick Cheney, whose climate comeuppance arrives on a swift horse.
But in preparing for this essay I also thought of a second thing, and a third and a fourth. It turns out that this subject is a rich vein of content and if you like this effort, I can promise you there will be others right here at The Congress.
At any rate, it’s exciting to have one of my pieces run at The Pipeline and as my friend and Pipeline contributor Buck Throckmorton might say, “I’d be honored if you would give it a read.”
